Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Making air fryer chicken wings at home sounds hard but it is really very simple! It is not only simple, but it is also much more affordable than eating out at restaurants and you know you are getting quality ingredients without sugar! Too many times I hear, “It is too expensive to eat keto!” However, if you step back and look at how much eating out at Buffalo Wild Wings is compared to ordering organic chicken wings from Roo Nutrition, you save a lot of money by making quality food at home.

Most of you know that I am not a gadget girl. I like life simple without a lot of clutter. One gadget that Craig bought me was a Smart Oven Air Toaster Oven and I thought I was never going to use it. Boy was I wrong. I use it almost daily, no lie! It has an air fry mode (for making chicken wings), a broiler mode (for fish), a convection mode (to make my keto flourless chocolate torte), a pizza mode (for my keto pizzas) and other modes like toasting (for my keto bagels) and a reheat mode (so you can skip the microwave). But the best part is that it doesn’t heat up the whole house and only takes a minute to pre-heat! Click HERE to find the one that I love!

Making air fryer chicken wings is so easy that my son Kai wanted to make a video of him making them. Chicken wings is his favorite food! One of my favorite joys in life is watching my boys become keto cooks. Micah and Kai decided to start a Keto Kids Youtube channel!

“Hi Maria, A few years ago I heard of “keto” from a relative that was very successful in their “journey” of better health. They suggested your website. I learned a TON from your site! I’m a nerd at heart and love researching new topics – so at the time I didn’t have that “umph “ to begin my own weight loss journey but keto was always in the back of mind as I have always struggled with my weight.

Last summer I had episodes of feeling “off” until one day I temporarily lost my eyesight. Brushed it off. I started feeling foggy here and there. I decided to go to the doctor . My blood pressure was 185/115. I was told that is stroke level. For a “healthy” 31 year old – I was actually terrified . I was put on BP pills. Over time I had to quadruple the dosage to keep my BP down.

I woke up and said to myself – I’m over this! I’m tired of feeling like this emotionally and physically. I decided to dive into keto! I was a whopping 267 lbs! Today I am 222! Miraculous! I don’t even feel like I’m on a “diet.” I have made multiple friends at work due to this change and I am happy to share it with them. For the first time in a long time I feel like my old self again, confident, happy, and honestly – only feel positive vibes/changes coming into my life. I wanted to thank you for all the effort and work you put into providing ample information and support for fellow keteors. Truly life changing!”

    Hi Maria,
Can you tell me what brand of psyllium you are using in your miracle bread lately.
I called the Jay Robb company yesterday and they have discontinued theirs.

    Maria –

I just finished your book, Keto: the Complete Guide. It’s terrific! I related to much of your experience – particularly your struggle to curb nighttime eating. I’m great during the day but cave at night. Any suggestions on how I can stop derailing myself?

  • Jane van der Westhuizen says:

    Hi Maria,
Awesome job Kai! This recipe looks great, and I’m really keen to get one of these ovens linked (Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ, Silver), it looks the same as in your video, but the 9 functions listed don’t mention air fryer (9 present functions: Toast, Bagel, Bake, Roast, Broil, Pizza, Cookies, Reheat and Warm). Could it be the roast function that you use for your “air fryer chicken wings”?
    Look forward to your advice.
    Thanks so much,
