Cobb Salad Tree
During the holidays, I always bring a Christmas Cobb Salad to family gatherings.
Since this Christmas, our gathering is very small, I wanted to make it extra special with little details like making my Christmas Cobb Salad into a Salad Tree! I love to make food fun! We eat with our eyes!
Isn’t it cute?
It wouldn’t be a Cobb Salad without BACON!!!!!

Cobb Salad Tree
Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 3 slices sugar-free bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 large hard boiled egg cubed small
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1/4 medium red onion sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup Tiny cherry tomatoes called "Sprinkles"
- 2 slices provolone cheese or other cheese like cheddar
- 1 slice prosciutto or salami
Instructions
- Place the romaine leaves on a large serving platter. Place the biggest spears at the bottom of the Christmas tree. Work toward the top using smaller and smaller spears to create a Christmas tree.
- Sprinkle the salad with the diced bacon crumbles, hard boiled egg cubes, and blue cheese crumbles.
- Slice the red onion into rings, use the smaller rings of the lettuce and arrange around the tree to replicate Christmas decorations.
- Arrange the tiny cherry tomatoes around the tree.
- Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut the slice of provolone cheese into a star. Place on the top of the tree. Cut the other slice of cheese into a 1 1/2 inch square for the trunk of the tree. Wrap the prosciutto or salami around the cheese and place at the bottom of the tree.
- Make my delicious Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing and use to serve with the Cobb Salad Tree.

TESTIMONY OF THE DAY
You MUST check out this text I received from a phone client this past August!
“Hi Maria,
I just wanted to pass on this great news! Thanks to Craig and yourself I have now reversed a lot of my PCOS symptoms and NO LONGER HAVE CYSTS, at the age of 24 I was one appointment away from needing diabetes medication and high blood pressure medication which at that age is super scary – everything is normal now and I don’t need medication.
On a side note, the extra weight is coming off effortlessly. My depression and anxiety are almost gone and if things continue the way they are, I will be off my antidepressants in September. You have saved my life!”
I just added this to my Christmas Eve menu! So cute and the meal is so big (Feast of the Seven Fishes), a light but lovely salad is definitely in order.
