Easy Hard Boiled Egg Mayo (Carnivore Mayo)

mayonnaise

I do not know why but I have always been afraid to make homemade mayo!

That is why I decided to toss hard boiled eggs into my blender and see if I can make easy mayo! It works great!

HARD BOILED EGG VARIATIONS

I also made easy homemade ranch with the hard boiled egg mayo.

WHERE TO GET INGREDIENTS FOR HARD BOILED EGG MAYO

If you haven’t noticed, I do not allow advertising on my site.

I just didn’t agree with some of the products that were advertised. They were keto products, but they were unhealthy and I would never personally eat most of the products. It was hard to say no to blog advertisements; they pay thousands of dollars a month, but I just felt uncomfortable about having the products I didn’t recommend on my website.

Instead, I have created a shopping list where you can find all the healthy ingredients that are difficult to find in the grocery store (and if you do find them, they are often very expensive).

I have done a lot of detective work and found the lowest prices on for all of the products I use and love. Everything from food, pantry items, kitchen tools, supplements, and skin products are on my list.

I rarely waste time in the grocery store because I find everything online for a way better price!

All you have to do is click on the words in my recipes and it will take you right to the correct item. If you add them to your cart I get a tiny commission that helps me afford to keep practicing recipes (Recipe experimenting can costing me a fortune!…but I love helping!).

I also have GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS on the list!

You can get my full shipping list HERE.

TESTIMONY OF THE DAY

“In 2001 I felt like crap! Depression, anxiety, exhaustion, adrenal fatigue, hypothyroidism, mononucleosis, candida overgrowth, Celiac’s disease, and an abundance of other food sensitivities. All unknown at the time. I just knew I hurt mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, psychologically and I didn’t know why. No one did. I was a full-blown vegan.

With Maria’s guidance of supplements and staying 100% compliance to her diet, my gut has finally healed, my emotional health completely stabilized, my acne is gone, excess pounds gone, brain fog gone, tired / fatigue gone. I am a healthy image I longed to be. It took time, persistence, patience, and self-discipline. It has been a journey that has paid off! Lacy”

Very interesting article. This is the first time I’ve heard of the serotonin/bowels connection. I’ve tried every constipation remedy known to man with very limited results. Do you know if 5-HTP can be taken with Wellbutrin XL? From what I understand it isn’t in the same class as antidepressants like Prozac.

Hu Maria, I just starting taking 1/4 tsp of emerita every 12 hrs. Is it normal to feel bloated and tired at first or should I cut it back to 1/8 of a tsp? I’m using it to help with fertility, I currently have endometriosis.

  • I also started taking 1/8 tsp of emerita every 12 hours. When I first started taking the cream I felt my mood was lifted, but I was bloated and only for the first week. Now that I’ve stopped the cream for shedding to start I’ve lost complete joy in my workouts, I’m obviously gaining weight which is causing more depression, I’m extremely irritable, I have aches in my legs, and feel as though I need 10-12 hours of sleep. I just feel inflamed everywhere and extremely bloated again. I have endometriosis and Celiac. I am also taking the cream for fertility. I stopped the cream after my last dose on the morning of 11-28. No shedding has started yet. Is it true that it could be turning on estrogen receptors or could I be creating problems for myself?

    • I would try Estrofactors instead: 1 capsule at each meal: EstroFactors is a unique formula designed to promote healthy hormone balance inwomen of all ages by featuring targeted nutrients that support healthy estrogen metabolism and detoxification (decrease ACNE).: There are 3 types of estrogen. Peri-menopause/No ovaries = body has low HEALTHY estrogen (estradiol), high UNHEALTHY (estrone) estrogen from extra insulin to make fat! Some ways we get too much estrogen is exposure to chemicals that mimicestrogen such as many plastics (microwaving food in plastic dishes or using plastic wraps and containers…like they did in the schools on JAMIE OLIVER’s FOOD REVOLUTION) or eating non-organic food. Beef and chickens are typically given potent estrogenic substances (‘super-estrogens’) to make them more productive. Our produce is often laced with these substances. People develop estrogen dominance as a result of a high-carb low-fiber diet, consuming excess fructose, drinking alcohol, having a “Tired-Toxic Liver”, or environmentalfactors…all of which we have some power to control. The liver is a filter of sorts. It detoxifies our body, protecting us from the harmful effects of chemicals, elements in food, environmental toxins, and even natural products of our metabolism, including excess estrogen. Anything that impairs liver function or ties up the detoxifying function will result in excess estrogen levels.Estrofactors helps with all of this:)))

Have you heard of Maca root to balance hormones for menopause and aiding in fertility? What is your opinion on this?

  • Becky says:

Since you talked about hormones I was wondering your thoughts on the big use of the HCG stuff? I’ve read in my low carb groups a number of people using it with great success. I was losing fine even though slow since I can’t exercise do to not being able to walk without a walker short distances and the use of a wheelchair. Last July things went off course and I haven’t been able to get back something I lost inwardly. No matter what I try I feel helpless and don’t want to gain back the weight I’ve lost. I can’t seem to get that mind set again. I feel like I’m lacking in something that makes me crave stuff that never has affected me before. I think I will try and get a few items you mentioned like 5-HTP and the probiotics.

    • I think that losing the weight slowly by changing the way you eat everyday is better than something you can’t sustain for life. Eating only 500 calories a day in the beginning will help you lose weight fast, but it isn’t sustainable and isn’t good for our metabolisms in the long run. 😉

  • I was looking at the ”
Metagenics – Ultra Flora Plus DF” and it contains soy and maltodextrin. I thought these things were not good especially for estrogen imbalances?

    • They actually changed their product and if you look the bottle in the photo is called Ultra Balance. I have a bottle here it neither of those ingredients are in it. 🙂

Hi Maria. I want to thank you again for all that you do to help people through your blog. Last time I was here my anxiety levels and fatigue were quite bad. From reading and reading about all your articles and recommendations I bought magnesium supplements as well as GABA. I can asure you after 2 months I have been feeling almost like normal after 4 years of high anxiety, insomnia and stress. I just moved to Canada and since I was feeling terrible I got some tests done just to feel safe that there wasn´t anything else going wrong and they all came out ok. So my doctor immediately gave me anxiety pills and antidepressant (in my head I said no way, I will take what Maria suggests instead) So I did and here I am feeling much much better. When I went to see my doctor again for the tests results, he said everything came out perfect fine except for iron levels are slightly low. So he gave me iron supplements. I confessed to him I did not take the anxitey pills, instead I was taking the GABA and the magnesium. He was amazed lol. He said to keep up what I was doing.

So I almost feel 100% percent normal and healthy, but I still have problems with insomnia. My heart keeps racing like in a panic attack when I´m falling alseep. It wakes me up and then I fall in a deep sleep and I´m ok.I can sleep, but it can wake me up several times. I can feel my anxiety coming back (not as bad) when I do not have a good night sleep and when stress is elevated. The only symptoms left of my anxiety are some weakness- tired feeling and my hands and left leg feel kind of weak/numb on ocasions, with a slight tingling. I notice this when my anxiety is coming back. So besides my heart keeping me up sometimes at night and these few symptoms left I can say I´m on the road for recovery. I have had all my life a short temper, I get irritated very easly and when I get angry I can be quite agressive. I do not know if this is part of my personality since it´s been for ever or if I´m lacking minerals and vitamins for this too. I can not believe how terrible you can feel (like dying) when you have nutritional deficiencies. Now I now it´s true.

Is there anything else you can suggest that I´m missing or I need to add? I read about all these great supplements but some are very expensive I can not afford. What else should I add besides the magnesium and GABA? I wish all came in one pill instead of buy like ten bottles.

Thanks so much for al your help and I appreciate very much all your advise and suggestions.

Would your book, Secrets to a Healthy Metabolism, be helpful for me? I am menopausal, no menses in 18 months. I eat low carb and have for a very long time but I can’t drop the weight. I am not “officially” overweight but I am heavier than I have ever been and I am not comfortable. I tried using the T Tapp exercise system but it didn’t seem to help. I take Vitex and Evening Primrose Oil as well as cod liver oil, calcium, magnesium, B Complex, Dry E, and vitamin C. I experience hot flashes daily and have for 2 1/2 years since donating a kidney to my son. My menopausal symptoms began immediately following the surgery. I am 50 years old. Your website is amazing. Thank you, thank you.

    Hi Maria,
My anxiety & stress levels are always out of whack, which causes anger. I started taking 5htp & theanine (1-each in the AM). It helps a little with the anxiety & stress, but my tension/anger is still a struggle. I think I need to increase the amounts of 5htp & theanine each day, but what other supplements do you suggest? I just don’t feel myself & I don’t like it.
    Thanks Sarah

    Hello Maria;

Do you have experience in working with females who have had a hysterectomy? I’m wondering about hormone levels and what to take to help support my ovaries. I’m going to ask that hormone levels be drawn. I routinely take magnesium, Vit D, CoQ10, and B6.

  • Sarah says:

I have low progesterone and was looking at the Emerita cream in your Amazon store. From my understanding most of these creams are made from soy. Do you know if they use GMO soy or if they employ some means to avoid GMO soy? Thanks.

  • Sarah Sprouse says:

Thanks! I’ll give it a shot.

  • Amy says:

I have been using the Emerita Progesterone Cream after you recommended it for me thinking my progesterone was low. I have been using 1/4 tsp every night before bed as you recommended. It does seem to really relax me & help me fall to sleep! However, now after 2 months of use I noticed I had some difficulty sleeping between ovulation time and right before my period, as well as bad PMS & breast tenderness. Do I need to adjust my dosage at all? I take the Estrofactors as well as all the other supplements you recommend for this.
    Thanks for the help!

I need to order the magnesium glycinate however the link here says it is temporarily unavailable. What is the magnesium glycinate that you are using now? I do not see it in the NOW brand. Only the magnesium citrate.

  • Lauren says:

Can you substitute any oil (olive, avocado, etc.) for the broth?
