BLOODY MARY TOMATOES
I wasn’t going to blog this recipe, I am quite busy at the moment with clients and book editing (for the 30 Day Keto Cleanse book), but I made these last night and they are absolutely wonderful! I had to share with all of you! So I woke up extra early to get this blog post done for you!
KETO TIP: When looking for hot sauces that are keto, check the ingredients. Don’t just look at the carbohydrate count. Most serving sizes are so low that they may only have a carb or two and it doesn’t look bad. But most have sugar. I used Franks hot sauce which is made of: aged cayenne red peppers, distilled vinegar, water, salt, and garlic powder. You can get this at most grocery stores as well as Costco.
Bloody Mary Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes cut in half
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce more or less depending on how hot you prefer; I used Franks
- 1 tablespoon Primal Kitchen Avocado oil or olive oil
Instructions
- Place sliced baby tomatoes on a serving platter. Sprinkle with celery salt. Drizzle with hot sauce and avocado oil. Serve.

So glad you decided to blog this week.. They sound delicious and I have a ton of cherry tomatoes in my garden that need picking.
This is such a simple recipe it’s a no Brainer! 🙂
Wow, Maria, I love all your recipes because they are so simple and delicious, and I can’t wait to try this one. I had such a mental resistance to cooking keto recipes in the beginning even though I understood why they were better for me, thanks to all the great information in Keto-Adapted. Probably because I had gotten out of the cooking habit and my husband didn’t like my cooking when I did. Maria’s recipes changed all that. Some of them are too easy not to make. When I try to talk myself out of it, I realize there is more benefit than effort involved in most, if not all of your recipes. I haven’t just lost weight and started feeling better since going keto and reading your books and blog, but I also love to cook now, and my husband loves your recipes too. Thank you so much Maria and Craig for making keto so easy and fun! The support I get from this blog is so motivating, since there is so much dietary misinformation out there.
Awe! Thanks!
Just subscribed. Can I make your bread recipe with egg whites alone or do i have to use an egg white protein please? Thanks, Judith
Awesome!
You need a powder to bind the eggs.
