What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
When I was a little girl I LOVED blue moon ice cream! It was a special treat I would get on the 4th of July! Our little town of Medford Wisconsin always had 4th of July events along a cute river. That was the only time I was able to get that special flavor of ice cream!
I had no idea what was in the delicious flavor of Blue Moon Ice Cream. It may have been the bright blue color that attracted me to the flavor, as well as the fact that my mom thought the flavor was disturbing and told me not to order it; so I did. Even at a young age, I would do the opposite of what I was told to do!
HOW TO MAKE PSMF BLUE MOON ICE CREAM
The special ingredient for making my delicious protein packed ice cream recipe is Equip Prime Protein. I had this protein powder in my pantry for months before trying it. Once I did, I was hooked! It is a yummy way to increase protein!

PSMF Blue Moon Ice Cream
Equipment
Ingredients
- 10 large egg whites scrambled and cooked
- 3/4 cup unsweetened macadamia nut milk
- 1/2 cup allulose
- 2 scoops Vanilla Equip Protein Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1/2 teaspoon raspberry extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Redmond Real salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
OPTIONAL
- 1/4 teaspoon Blue Spirulina for natural blue coloring
Instructions
- Place the egg whites and in a large skillet and cook over medium high heat until scrambled and cooked though. Chill in the fridge until completely chilled.
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and puree until very very smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.

- Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
- NOTE: If ice cream is too hard, allow to sit at room temperature for 8 minutes before serving.

“I have been overweight for as long as I can remember, as a kid I grew an attachment to eating my feelings which carried all the way into my adult life. I have found a love for cooking and baking my own food as well as exercising to stay healthy. Yes you can.
What brand do you recommend for raspberry extract. That one is harder to find. I see that you like frontier brand for other flavors but Amazon reviews are saying it’s really weak flavored. Any recommendations?
Would it make a difference in the ice cream when using Bob Evan’s Egg Whites vs. actual egg white from eggs?
