Keto Course
I have some very exciting news for those of you who want to learn how to do keto for weight loss and want some special support! We now have all new Keto Courses! It was filmed by a very professional film crew that came into our home. Craig and I spent copious amounts of time filming these videos and made sure to cover EVERYTHING you need to know to do keto properly.
Check out this sneak peak video of the courses!
With the popularity of keto, comes a lot of bad advice. “Eat 80% fat” …. “If you aren’t losing weight, add more fat” …. “Eat fat bombs” ….. “Do a Fat Fast to lose weight” … these are just some of the bad information we are hearing and reading on other keto sites which is why we want to give you the proper tools to be successful on your ketogenic journey.
It may not look like it now, but I lived the majority of my life afraid of my own shadow and very little confidence in myself. In this course Craig and I step forward to give you everything you need to know to make this a lifestyle for you and your family. We talk about the how our biology works and how keto can use it to make you happier, healthier, full of energy and mental clarity that is amazing.
Do you think it’s possible for someone to need low fat keto? I have no gallbladder and tried keto. I ended up throwing up all morning in my bathroom.
Doing keto right won’t have you eating that much fat. We tend to moderate the fat down when weight loss is the goal. Also, the common bile duct, which still remains after the gallbladder is removed, takes over a lot of the function of the gallbladder when it is taken out. That is why you can have your gallbladder removed and not totally fall apart by not being able to digest any fats. Coconut oil is very good for someone without a gallbladder because it doesn’t require bile acids for absorption. All MCT (medium chain triglycerides) are like this. You can also use dandelion and ox bile to increase bile production. So eating this way is great for someone without a gallbladder.
Maria, what do you think of pork chips during PSMF days?
Can be an ok option.
Are the Class Videos available under the Services and Meal Plans tab included in these new courses?
There are separate. The Courses are all new. 🙂
So, is it the same information presented in a new way, or completely new information? I guess what I’m asking is – if I signed up for one of the new courses, would I still need to buy the class videos to get that information?
This is all new and covers everything you need so you wouldn’t need to get the classes. 🙂
Maria, I have been trying Keto since last October. It was highly recommend by my naturopath Doctor. I have already bought your bundle and a cook book but it is still all too overwhelming for me. I have been unsuccessful. I need a simple Keto diet and I do not want to cook 30 different meals a month. I need something quick. I am willing to cook all day one day a week but I do not need a thousand recipes. I am looking for a nondairy option Keto daily, simple, plan. I actually, bought your nondairy Keto book. I really want to get this ketogenic diet down. Please advise. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and thyroid cancer, both, in October 2014. After a lumpectomy and thyroidectomy, I refused chemo and radiation that the doctors strongly advised me to have. I feel fine but I need to lose about 25 pounds. I hope you can help me.
Thank you.

I would do what you stated and spend time on a weekend to prep for the week. Make a huge batch of my breakfast chili and store in single serving sizes and you have breakfast covered for the week. Just reheat. That type of thing. 🙂
Maria, I’ve started the Keto journey and am seeing some great results in simply going low-carb. My biggest struggle, however, is relinquishing my morning coffee. I think it has become more habit than anything else. Meaning, I have a one hour commute into work and I’ve grown accustomed to having that warm and creamy (butter coffee) cup-o-brew to sip on during that time. Do you have any suggestions to help break this habit or make it more Keto friendly?
Well number one, remove the butter and just make it a coffee. Number two, decaf coffee would be next. Butter coffee is not what you want if trying to lose weight.
