Easy Protein Pancakes

Easy Protein Pancakes

I LOVE PANCAKES!

When I was a little girl, I loved it when we had pancakes for dinner but the pancakes I ate as a child had very little protein in them. Just think about the traditional pancake… it is nothing but sugar and carbs.

Children need more protein than what most are getting. I know I didn’t get enough protein as a child.

Protein is essential for bone health. Most of our bones are built before age 18 and bones need a lot of protein! Yes, protein is key to building healthy bones. Check out THIS study; women with osteoporosis reversed bone loss by increasing protein! Not calcium, protein!

HOW TO MAKE EASY PROTEIN PANCAKES

My easy protein pancakes are not only awesome for all of you, but for your children! If you have children that are picky eaters and do not eat enough protein, make them these protein pancakes! Better yet, have your children make them! Yes, these pancakes are so easy, your children can make them! Kids are more likely to eat something new if they make it!

These easy protein pancakes are only 3 ingredients; eggs, gelatin and Equip protein powder!

What is fun about this pancake recipe is you can make it your favorite flavor! If you love strawberry, use strawberry Equip Prime Protein, if you love chocolate, use chocolate Equip and if you love peanut butter, make peanut butter pancakes with peanut butter Equip!

Equip Prime Protein powder is my favorite protein powder because it is dairy free and it is made from beef which is the most nutrient-dense food! I also love it because it tastes AMAZING! I am addicted to the strawberry!

Equip is so generous, they are offering 15% off when you use code MARIA!

TESTIMONY OF THE DAY

Jozie and her mom came to my house 5 months ago! Jozie has TS and I am SO proud of her! I had to share her testimony! Doesn’t she look AMAZING???
“Ok, for those looking for my latest Keto updates on Jozie and I here it is…
Jozie went from a women’s small/medium to a children’s size 10. She lost 25lbs.
Her daily battles with blood sugar and feeling unwell are GONE!
Her lymphedema is GONE!
Having to eat every couple of hours is GONE!
Anxiety is almost GONE!
Food worries GONE!
Sugar cravings GONE!
She has more energy, has gotten sick less, is happier, never feels hungry, she grew a couple inches which is HUGE for her TS, and she overall feels GREAT!
I lost 50 pounds! My asthma is non existent, my allergies are non existent, my gallbladder issues are gone, my pancreatitis is not active, my skin is better, my hair is thicker and growing, my headaches are better, my back, neck and aches and pains are better, I have more energy, I sleep better, my mood is better, I’m happier, my digestion is better and in general everything is BETTER!
Before we started Keto I prayed for God to help me accept my weight, be healthier and be a better person mentally and physically to better serve Him or help me lose weight to do those things. He aligned our journey with Keto. All the Glory goes to God for helping me which then completely transformed Jozie’s health and future health!
I am so thankful and feel so blessed the Lord gave us the tools and Maria Wojcik Emmerich and Craig Emmerich to completely change our health and ultimately our lives!” – Linda and Jozie

Hi, I love getting your emails and recipes but can never print the recipes from my newer android phone, even tried different browsers etc.

  • Eve says:

Love a lot of your recipes but I use products I love already including protein powder. Can you give me a measurement for the protein powder? Instead of 1 scoop. Like in tablespoons or in a weight would be great, thanks

    • Maria Emmerich says:

This recipe has only been tested using Equip beef isolate protein powder. It will not work the same with other protein powders. With that said, I am not sure what measurements would be needed for substitutions. But 1 scoop of Equip is roughly 1/3 cup (but not exactly).

  • Nancy says:

Would this work with regular egg white protein powder instead of the Equip?

  • Barb says:

Can you substitute vanilla collagen peptides or another protein powder like egg whites if you haven’t gotten Prime Protein yet?

    Thanks,

    Batb

  • PotiQReckons says:

What sugar free syrup do you recommend?

  • Ginger says:

I’ve been making this for about 5 years now, same ingredients and proportions except the gelatin. I’ll have to try your version with the gelatin! Question, I know on most protein powders we don’t count the protein as they are not “complete” proteins. Does this beef protein isolate fall under the same rules or can we count the protein towards our daily goal? Thanks!

    • Maria Emmerich says:

Beef Protein Isolate is a complete protein, so it counts towards your protein goal 🙂

  • Lori R says:

Question: is the equip beef powder a complete protein? I’ve asked about using it for my pre workout and was told no that it was not good for that. Eating for pancakes how would that rank as a protein? Complete or not~TIA!

  • Maria says:

Love this recipe! My batter was a little thin so I made crepes out of this. Tastes just like the “real” thing! My new go-to!!

  • Shel says:

I just made these and loved them! Thank you Maria!

  • Francine says:

Maria, this is the best keto pancake recipe ever! I made it with the Further Peanut Butter Protein Powder and oh my goodness! I added the baking powder and whipped the batter pretty good in the food processor until it was thick. It made the fluffiest pancakes. Will never use almond flour again.

On a personal note, I am forever grateful that I found you early in my Keto journey. Thank you for all of your hard work. You are one in a million my dear girl (I am 73). And Your boys are so cute! Much respect and good wishes to you my friend.

  • Gina says:

Would the chocolate be ok as pancakes?

  • Kathy Utsey says:

Is Keto Adapted more of a carnivore diet? I have been living the low carb life style for 9 years but find I am needing a change and opted for carnivore.

  • Ginger says:

I would love to get this equip product, however, it is expensive. If I were to use the unflavored version or vanilla, could I just add cocoa powder or chocolate extract to make the chocolate pancakes? Same for strawberry? Could I use a strawberry extract or emulsion? Just wondering!

  • Diane says:

    5 stars
These pancakes are delicious! Thank you for a wonderful recipe. At first look at the ingredients I thought they would be eggy… but they are not! I’m wondering if these would be considered carnivore?
