CARNIVORE Waffles
WHY A RECIPE FOR CARNIVORE WAFFLES
My husband Craig has always loved waffles! He loves them more than pancakes, or French Toast.
Since he is the one who needs to eat carnivore for his health, I wanted to make him a special recipe! And it is DELICIOUS!
HOW TO MAKE CARNIVORE WAFFLES
To make my carnivore waffles, I used Equip unflavored protein powder! I have to be honest, I did try using unflavored collagen and it works, but collagen doesn’t count towards your protein goal for the day. That is why I wanted to use Equip to make my carnivore waffles instead.
Equip protein powder comes from beef! Since some of my clients do not want to only eat meat, I created this special waffle recipe to satisfy your desires without the guilt!
Boost your protein and build lean mass, burn fat, grow beautiful hair and assist your thyroid just by making carnivore waffles with Equip Prime protein!

CARNIVORE Waffles
Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unflavored Equip Prime Protein powder
- 2 tablespoons Further Food gelatin
- 1/4 teaspoon Redmond Real salt
- 1/4 teaspoon stevia glycerite (TOTALLY OPTIONAL)
Instructions
- Heat waffle iron to medium high heat.
- Place the eggs into a medium bowl and beat with a hand mixer until well combined.
- In another bowl, stir together the Equip, gelatin, and salt. There might be lumps but that is ok.
- With the hand mixer on slowly pour in your dry ingredients into the egg mixture. Keep mixing for about one minute until batter thickens. Add the stevia glycerite if using.
- Spray the waffle iron with tallow spray and place ¼ cup of batter into the center of your waffle iron. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Do not underbake or it will shrink. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Drizzle with hollandaise, butter or top with over easy eggs.

Hello was trying with carnivore diet then went to visit my son and then holidays so need to get back, having things like this will help and I got to GET OFF SODA again, fairly easy first time NOT EASY this time. But the couple months I was doing well I didn’t miss processed food at all, now it’s terribl, hungry, want snack stuff and the soda. Quick question though should u still take iodine of u have had ur thyroid removed? Mayb that and good diet again will help..I am 67 it’s time! Thank You
Yes you can still take iodine. Great job getting back into the swing of things. You can do this!
Regarding the soda. I know it’s pricey but try using the Zevia to help ween off. Costco has the best price. 😃
Can I use the vanilla Equip?, I didn’t buy the unflavored. Would they still be considered “carnivore” then?
Thanks!!!
Am I adding something wrong? How are these 34.6 g of protein?
I forgot to add my gelatine. Is it a complete protein we can count towards our protein goal?
I have been carnivor for almost two months. I do however drink my homemade Kiefer as a treat.
Is my Kiefer keeping me from losing more weight?
Swelling in my joints have gone down tremendously and I feel better all over. It’s my 63 birthday and had two low carb and low sugar protein bars to celebrate. .
Any advice ?
Hi Kim,
What is Kiefer?? I have osteoarthritis in my hands. I have cut back on my dairy and nuts as suggested. I also take liquid turmeric and 2 glucosamine a day but still have issues.
Thanks,
Patti
I don’t have a waffle maker, I assume this can be made as pancakes as well but I just wanted to confirm.
I haven’t actually made this as pancakes but I think it would work 🙂
Hi, can other protein powders be substituted? 🙂
Sorry, I haven’t tested other protein powders with this recipe🙏
Thanks for taking the time to answer.
One wonders how you do all the things you do. You must have great organizational skills as well as great discipline.
