Carnivore Rice

I know some carnivore experts make fun of me and think that carnivore do not need recipes and that you just need to eat meat.

However, diets only work if you are compliant. So if the lack of variety causes you to fall of the wagon, then I can be your fairy godmother and create delicious recipes like Carnivore Rice!

HOW TO MAKE CARNIVORE RICE

In the past, I would make rice with egg whites and a whisk, but it wasn’t quite perfect. So a few years ago, I messed around with adding gelatin to the egg whites for a better texture and BOOM! It worked perfectly!

To make my carnivore fried rice, I didn’t just use any gelatin; I used Further Food gelatin!

  • To make the Carnivore Rice, place the eggs into a large greased skillet and whisk in the gelatin and the salt. Allow the gelatin to dissolve for 3 minutes before turning on the heat. 
  • Heat the eggs over medium- high heat and scramble until completely cooked through. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  • Once cool, place in a food processor to pulse into small pieces of rice (or use a ricer and place the cooked egg whites through a ricer to form pieces of rice).
  • Serve over my Carnivore Meatballs or Protein Sparing Butter Chicken!
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 6 days.
