Mango Chili Ceviche
When I was on my keto retreat in Costa Rica, many of the people on my trip ordered ceviche but we found out they added Ginger Ale soda to the mixture so they always asked for Ceviche without soda. We started talking and one of the group members named Kim (who is also one of my certified health coaches) mentioned she likes to put LMNT in her ceviche and I thought that was brilliant! I must try that!
HOW TO MAKE MANGO CHILI CEVICHE
To make my delicious Mango Chili Ceviche, I used Mango Chili LMNT!
It is unbelievable how perfect using LMNT works for tasty ceviche!

Mango Chili Ceviche
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup red onion diced
- 3/4 cup lime juice fresh
- 1 packet packet Mango Chili OR Citrus Lime LMNT
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 jalapeños seeded and diced
- 1 pound fresh mahi mahi or other fish such as salmon, halibut, sea bass, tilapia, red snapper
- 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 cup ripe grape or cherry tomatoes sliced in 1/2
- 1 cup cucumbers diced
- 1 avocado diced
Instructions
- Dice the red onion and place into a large bowl. Add the lime juice and LMNT and stir well to coat.
- Add the fish, garlic, jalapeño and gently mix.
- Next add the tomatoes, cucumber, cilantro. Stir to coat everything well and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (45-60 minutes is best). The longer you marinate the firmer and more cooked the fish will become.
- Taste and adjust seasoning to your liking (adding more LMNT if desired).
- Gently stir in the avocado and serve.

“I have been hesitant to post these photos. I have gone back and forth about it for a week. Once I calculated the numbers for my age, height, and activity level, and started tracking, I realized the protein levels I had been consuming were way too low and my fat levels had been too high, for fat loss. After making those adjustments, it was like a fat burning switch had been turned on. Even without working out for 3 weeks, while recovering from leg vein surgery, I was consistently dropping inches. I don’t weigh myself, but I do track my measurements and wow, what a difference. My clothes were falling off by October and I had to upgrade my wardrobe, because my previously tight leggings were too big. Plus, my Cholesterol and A1C levels dropped to optimal levels!!!
