Maria and I have been helping client for over 12 years and we know what works. I have been a Ketoista for several years (off and on) but got really serious last March. I’ve lost 40 lbs, curtailed migraines (along with Botox injections for migraines in combo with diet change), fibromyalgia is a thing of the past, brain fog at 66, gone; all this among other improvements. But, now I find myself at a standstill on weight loss. I have 10 lbs to my goal but can’t budge it. I’m stuck back and forth with 2 to 5 lbs up and down which isn’t letting me get below a certain point. I’ve redone the Keto Cleanse which helps but once I go back to regular keto planning that miserable 2-5 keeps plaguing me. I’ve looked over your site for Q/As but don’t see it. Am I just missing it or do you provide answers for targeted questions on your site? Thanks so much for the inspiration and oh so great recipes!!!
Maria, I have read that women with pcos should not run a lot but I was hoping to train for a half marathon and continue with weight training, what do you think about that?
What is your goal for doing this marathon? I don’t think there is an issue with PCOS and working out. But I would say that if weight loss and healing is the goal, I would skip the marathon and focus on strength training. 🙂
I’ve been living the Keto lifestyle since August 2017 and have lost 15 pounds. I’ve been very pleased and feel great! My daughter, age 21, is trying to go Keto but she has a friend who is a nutritionist that is telling her that it’s not a lifestyle. This person tells her that you can’t live low card because it can damage your heart. How do I respond to this? I’ve been looking through your books and can’t seem to find right answer.
Zero truth to that. I would ask them for proof to their claims. 🙂

Loved the video and love the family! I’ve just started about 3 weeks ago. I’m committed to this WOE because of my need/desire to lose a good amount of weight, and because of many health issues, including cancer, high cholesterol and triglycerides, hypertension, and autoimmune disease. I am truly looking forward to watching many more videos and I thank you for all you are doing to help people like me who were at the point of giving up.
I am doing Keto but wrong I guess. I drink bullet proof coffee and didn’t realize that with at least 150 pounds to lose I am not helping myself. I’m hoping to learn what’s right and how to do this correctly.
I don’t want to read a book to be sold on keto or why fat isn’t bad for us. I know that. I’m wondering if your Keto book can help me figure out why I’m not losing on keto, which I’ve been doing for 3 months (and Primal for 3 months before that). I eat Butcherbox meats, organic vegetables, etc., no packaged foods. I hope my body is healing after years of low fat/bad fats, high carb eating but I need a book that helps me with why I’m not losing weight (I’m 50 pounds overweight) or is there something more I can tweak. I don’t eat sugar, caffeine, alcohol… can your book help me?
