Testimony of the Day

“Hi Maria! These photos were taken almost 8 months to the day (before is the day before I had my second baby and she turned 8 months today).  I am down to my wedding weight 😀😀 (before babies).

I am way more fit though. I can’t believe how much more muscular I am without all the carb bloat. I feel amazing!  Thanks again, for everything!!!!  Carrie

  • Does Celtic Sea Salt contain iodine? Or would I have to buy conventional salt to get the iodine?

  • Linda says:

Hi Maria, Where’s the Grand Marnier?

  • Evangeline Brodoway says:

Maybe I’m wrong but shouldn’t this have orange extract? Or does the vanilla extract do the job of making it taste like Grand Marnier?

  • Tracy says:

I’ve been following your blog for some time and thinking of taking the plunge into becoming keto-adapted. I do have one question that may come across as harsh, but I promise I don’t mean it as such.
Is it possible to become keto-adapted without consuming so many processed products? I don’t mind replacing my sugar with a low carb sweetener – but I really don’t want to start buying bars and such.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

  • DonnaZ says:

Someone just asked me about iodine in my salt yesterday! I am anxious to hear your response to this too, Maria. Thanks for all you do to help so many 😊

  • Annette says:

You don’t want conventional salt. Lugols is what you need for iodine

  • Christy says:

In using the keto//0s, is one full scoop the same as a packet? And if you use this to make the candy, you won’t be able to get the full scoop of keto//os in unless you eat all the candy in a day. Do you still get the full benefit of the keto//os if you just have acouple peices of candy? Please make more recipes using the keto//os.-Christy

This is the exact same recipe that you posted some time ago when Keto O/S was all the rage–I saved that one, and this one has the same ingredients, and the same amounts. Are there any more uses for this product, such as in a salad dressing, a pudding, a cheesecake, or other food that isn’t cooked/heated?

  • Kate Scarratt says:

Dear Matia, My friend has been suffering this past week from gastroenteritis. I spend a lot of time with her, and am anxious that, if I get it too, I don’t know what to eat. All the advice online is to eat rice, bananas, toast, etc. Well, I don’t eat any of those! Any advice, please – just in case?

  • Jenny Chapeau says:

These are amazing!! I made them today and the flavor is just wonderful! I look forward to seeing more recipes using Keto-OS. The one question I have is do you use the “caffeine” or “caffeine-free” packets in your recipes? Thanks and keep on keeping on!

  • Mirjana Milosavljevic says:

Swerve (confectioners style) sugar replacement says it has 5g of carbs per teaspoon. So for 1/4 cup as in this recipe, it doesn’t make sense me that per serving is only .5 carbs? What am I missing? Thanks!

  • Jen says:

I made Keto Christmas Cutout cookies with Swerve confectioners sugar and ate a big cookie today. Now I am very nauseated. Could it be the Swerve?

  • Dan says:

Hi Maria, I know this is an older recipe, and the newer one uses cocoa butter. But, I was thinking of making this with butter or brown butter. Do you think that would work?
