I have a question unrelated to this post. I have been following you through the blog, Keto-Adapted and your cookbooks since last February and it’s changed my life. I’ve lost 54lbs to date (it literally fell of by following your advice) and feel like a new person, thank you. My husband jumped on board after a health assessment and he has lost over 40lbs as well. Its hard to believe that after a lifetime of health struggles and trying everything under the sun that I stumbled upon you and your woe and it works! One of the reasons I started following you besides weight struggles was that I had my thyroid removed 5 years ago and at 49 was heading into premenopause. (Evening primrose is a miracle thank you) but now some of those symptoms are back and I was wondering if your menopause supplement plan has new information that is not Keto-Adapted or on the blog postings. I am happy to purchase the plan but would like to know if I am already taking the recommended supplements. Thank you for you attention.

I have bought and read 2 of your books and I don’t get it? Meaning, they didn’t really tell me much on what I should be eating and any vitamins/supplements that would be good for me to take. Is it that one needs a consultation and then buy the books? Sorry for being confused, but they aren’t the simplest reads to understand.
Any guidance on how to take them to be helpful in my eating would be great.

Sorry, most people say my books are super easy to read and understand. The general guideline for nutrition is 70-80% of calories from healthy fats, 15-20% from protein and 5% or less total carbs. My meal plans just make it super easy to follow. As for supplements, it is highly dependent on what your specific needs are. 🙂

Hi Maria, I am diabetic and am controlling it with diet (yours!) I own all your cookbooks and follow your blog and use your supplements. Many times my evening blood sugar will be good but my morning blood sugar will be higher (148 today). The day before was very low carb – no cheating. Is there something I can do at night to keep my blood sugar from rising over night?

Do you moderate your protein? Try keeping it at 50g a day (in addition to very low carb, like 20g or less total carbs and about 100g or more of fat) and see if that helps.
