TESTIMONY OF THE DAY
“So, today is the day, goal day! What seemed to be a lifetime journey (of course one that won’t stop). BUT finally I’m at the “normal” BMI (158) for my height. No overweight or obese. Life is a journey and has ups and downs not to mention bites and tastes. Lol. Definitely happier and healthier than I have ever been. Keto on.
I’ve been using you Maria Emmerich for 4 years. I had gastric bypass 16 years ago and gained back.
Started keto at 201 lbs. and today 157.4. So a slow journey of on and off. But without “Maria’s” keto. I feel I wouldn’t of ever made it.
And on the plus side. All my mineral and vitamin levels which I have been deficient due to the gastric bypass have been extremely better and in normal range since I started keto (took about 6 months into keto)“ – Michele
Just made these brownies and let me just say, SOO GOOD!!!
So glad you like them!! 🙂
I tried the discount but it would not allow it for the items I had in my cart, I wanted to order the 3 pack budle of chocolate, hazelnut & vanilla, is it because I am Canadian?
Made these tonight and they are fantastic! They hit the spot for any sweet tooth!
Do you use collagen or collagen peptides?
They are essentially the same thing 🙂
Best brownies ever, including pre-keto days! However mine needed about 40 minutes to bake and were still very wet. They also looked much thicker than your illustrations. Next time I’m going to bake in 9 x 9.
a 9×9 pan may be better 🙂
I had to cook my batch quite a bit longer than the recipe called for, something like 20 minutes more, so I was relieved to discover they are absolutely delicious. 🙂
I’m glad you liked them 🙂
Can I use Vanilla Collagen or Chocolate Collagen instead of the Hazelnut? I have a lot of the Vanilla & Chocolate, but no Hazelnut. I ‘m excited to try these!
Of course 🙂
Curious we can use Equip instead of the Collagen powder? Seems pretty similar!
Not with this recipe. Use this instead for Equip: https://mariamindbodyhealth.com/the-best-flourless-fudgy-protein-brownies/
These were absolutely fantastic! How would you recommend storing these?
My daughter made these for me today. She used plain collagen and a dash of pure vanilla extract, since we had no flavors. They baked about 20 minutes. These were dark, chocolatey, and crazy good!
Thank you for everything you do! I check your site daily for inspiration. ❤️
Sounds amazing! Many blessings to you!
Can I use eggwhite protein instead of collagen?
It won’t work the same. Collagen is the star of this recipe.
“softened” butter? not melted?
Correct 🙂
Discount code isn’t working. Anyone know why?
My brownies have been in the oven almost 20 min and still look wet. I think that I may need to extend the cooking time.
Sorry about that 🙁
They turned out moist and delicious when cooled!
Awesomeness!!
What size good chocolate bar? There are several sizes.
I use their standard full size bars 🙂
Made last night, used chocolate collagen and added a tsp of vanilla. Baked addl 10 minutes and were perfect! I wonder if it is just an altitude adjustment that others are having to extend cooking times? Have you tried them with coconut flour? Curious as there are people in the tribe that are allergic to almonds! Thanks for the great recipe from someone that has been told to stay away from sugar! (and has a huge sweet tooth)
I highly suggest this recipe for a flourless option: https://mariamindbodyhealth.com/the-best-flourless-fudgy-protein-brownies/
A little sweet for my taste. Could I reduce the sweetener or substitute some of it with monk fruit?
Of course! Modify to your personal preference 😉
Love this recipe!! I have to leave extra 5 min in oven than recipe calls for but then it’s perfect! Tip… use a plastic knife to cut after it’s cooled…beautiful squares.
I’m so glad you like them!
