High Protein Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls

I love cinnamon rolls! I also LOVE Further Food’s pumpkin spice collagen! I created a very delicious recipe marrying the two and it is a new family favorite! TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY to get Further Food Pumpkin Spice collagen!

The Benefits of Pumpkin Spice Collagen and Grass-Fed Gelatin

There is something about pumpkin spice that instantly makes a recipe feel warm, comforting, and seasonal. But when pumpkin spice is paired with collagen and grass-fed gelatin, it can become more than just a cozy flavor. It can also be a simple way to add supportive protein to your day in a form that works beautifully in drinks, desserts, and baked recipes.

Pumpkin spice collagen and grass-fed gelatin are appealing for two reasons. First, they can make recipes richer, creamier, and more satisfying. Second, they offer a convenient way to include collagen-derived protein in your daily routine. While collagen is not a miracle supplement, the research does suggest some promising benefits, especially for skin hydration and elasticity, with additional potential support for joints, bones, and connective tissue.

Why Collagen Matters

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. It helps provide structure to skin, joints, tendons, ligaments, bones, and other connective tissues. As we age, collagen production naturally declines, which is one reason skin may become less firm and joints may not feel as resilient over time.

That is why collagen supplements have become so popular. They are not meant to replace a well-rounded diet or complete protein sources, but they can be a supportive addition to a routine focused on aging well, staying active, and caring for skin and connective tissue.

Pumpkin Spice Makes Collagen Easier to Enjoy

One of the biggest benefits of pumpkin spice collagen is not biochemical at all. It is practical.

A supplement only works if you actually use it consistently. Pumpkin spice gives collagen a warm, familiar flavor that works beautifully in my high protein cinnamon rolls, smoothies, yogurt bowls, high protein pancakes, protein desserts, and fall-inspired baked goods. That can make collagen feel less like a supplement and more like part of an enjoyable daily ritual.

And that matters, because consistency is where supportive habits begin to add up.

Collagen Supports Skin Hydration and Elasticity

This is one of the most well-known benefits of collagen, and it is also one of the better-supported ones.

Research suggests that oral collagen supplementation may help improve skin hydration and elasticity over time. That does not mean collagen erases wrinkles or stops aging. But it does suggest that regular use may help support healthier-looking, better-hydrated skin.

For people interested in beauty from the inside out, this is one of the most compelling reasons to include collagen in a routine.

It Offers Support for Joints and Connective Tissue

Collagen is also a major part of cartilage, ligaments, and other connective tissues, which is why it is often used by active people or those wanting extra joint support.

While the evidence is still developing, collagen may help support joint comfort and overall connective tissue health. This can make it a useful addition for people who exercise regularly, are aging, or simply want to support the structures that help the body move well and stay strong.

Grass-Fed Gelatin Brings Functional Benefits to Recipes

Gelatin is closely related to collagen, but it behaves differently in recipes. This is where grass-fed gelatin really shines.

Gelatin is what gives body, bounce, and structure to foods. It helps create that soft, creamy, thickened texture people love in my healthy marshmallows, panna cotta, gummies, mousse, puddings, and other desserts. It can also improve the mouthfeel of protein-rich recipes and help them feel more indulgent and cohesive. In my high protein pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls, it adds a chewy texture.

In other words, collagen may be the quiet nutritional support, while gelatin is often the ingredient doing the visible culinary work.

It Can Make Seasonal Recipes More Nourishing

Pumpkin spice collagen and grass-fed gelatin pair especially well in fall-inspired recipes. Think pumpkin spice lattes, creamy protein drinks, no-bake cheesecakes, custards, mousse, gummies, or homemade marshmallows.

These ingredients can help turn a seasonal treat into something more satisfying and more supportive of your goals. Instead of a recipe being built mostly around sugar and empty calories, it can include protein-rich ingredients that offer both flavor and function.

That is one of the most appealing things about using them in recipes. They let comfort food feel a little more purposeful.

A Supportive Ingredient, Not a Complete Protein Replacement

It is important to keep expectations realistic. Collagen and gelatin are not complete proteins, so they should not replace nutrient-dense meals or primary protein sources like meat, eggs, fish, or dairy. Their strength is different.

They are best viewed as supportive additions that can complement a healthy diet, add texture to recipes, and contribute collagen-derived amino acids in a convenient and enjoyable way.

That perspective keeps them useful without expecting them to do more than they really can.

Final Thoughts

Pumpkin spice collagen and grass-fed gelatin offer a nice combination of comfort and function. Collagen may help support skin hydration, elasticity, and connective tissue health, while grass-fed gelatin brings powerful texture benefits that make recipes richer, creamier, and more satisfying.

Together, they can turn seasonal drinks and desserts into something more nourishing without losing the warm, cozy flavor people love this time of year.

Sometimes the best health habits are the ones that feel enjoyable enough to keep. And when a simple scoop of pumpkin spice collagen or grass-fed gelatin can make a recipe taste like fall while adding a little extra support, that is a pretty easy habit to love.

  • 3/4 cup powdered allulose
  • 1/2 cup salted butter at room temperature
  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon stevia glycerite
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • To make the high protein pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls, preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Place a piece of parchment onto a large rimmed baking sheet. Spray parchment with Avocado oil spray and set aside.
  • Separate the eggs (save the yolks for another recipe like my keto ice cream, hollandaise, mayo or lemon curd), and place the whites into a large bowl or stand mixer. Add the allulose, gelatin and salt and whip the whites for a few minutes until VERY stiff.
8 large egg whites, 3 tablespoons powdered allulose, 2 1/2 tablespoon Further Food gelatin, 1/2 teaspoon Redmond Real salt
  • Turn the mixer to low and gently mix the collagen and egg white protein powder into the whites. Do not over mix or the rolls will end up like styrofoam.
2 scoops Further Food Pumpkin Spice Collagen Powder, 1/3 cup Jay Robb Unflavored Egg White Protein Powder
  • Spread the cinnamon roll mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until just cooked through (NOT browned at all).'
  • Meanwhile make the filling mixture by placing all the ingredients into a small bowl and stir well to combine.
4 tablespoons salted butter, 3 tablespoons BROWN Allulose, 1 scoop Further Food Pumpkin Spice Collagen Powder
  • Remove pan from the oven and use a knife to spread with the filling mixture. Use a serated knife to cut into 8 strips (cutting from the longer end of the baking sheet). Roll each strip into a roll. Set the rolls into a greased 8 inch pie pan.
  • Place back into the oven for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before frosting.
  • To make the frosting. Using a hand mixer, beat the sweetener, butter, softened cream cheese in a medium-sized bowl until smooth. Add the heavy cream, stevia glycerite and extract; beat until well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking and adding a touch of salt if desired.
3/4 cup powdered allulose, 1/2 cup salted butter, 8 ounces cream cheese, 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 1 teaspoon stevia glycerite, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Top the rolls with frosting and enjoy! Store extras in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Can be frozen unfrosted for up to a month.
