TESTIMONY OF THE DAY
“But the unbelievable update that I MUST share with you is this…. I watched a few of the classes and specifically the supplements class. I’m 53 years old and experiencing a wide variety of hormone related issues. I immediately purchased the recommended supplements and added to my regime.
I can’t thank you enough….! I finally feel like I’ve found my answers and a place to start healing.” – Robin
OBESOGENS AND WEIGHT WEIGHT GAIN
I’m always setting new health goals and “baby steps” towards a healthier family. One easy way to “healthify” your whole family without much whining is to get rid of all the products that contain hormone disrupters.
Have you ever heard the word “Obesegen?”
There are so many products sold on shelves today that contain Obesegens. They are chemicals that are hormone disrupters. Weight loss is all about hormone manipulation but if you are living in an estrogen dominant state (yes, even men can) you will have a hard time being successful with your weight loss, mood, PMS. Many cancers such as breast, thyroid, ovarian, and prostate cancers are estrogen dominant cancers.
If you are concerned about what you put in your mouth and always eat organic foods, don’t compromise your body by putting Obesegens on your skin.
Steer clear of dangerous Obsesogen chemicals found in many products. Obesogens are found to affect cells in 3 ways:
1. By directly affecting adipocytes, or fat cells, by either increasing their fat-storage capacity or increasing their number.
2. By changing metabolism, by both reducing the number of calories burned at rest and promoting the storage of calories as fat.
3. By changing the way the body regulates feelings of hunger and fullness.
Phthalates: Phthalates, hormone-disrupting chemicals, are common in synthetically fragranced products. Besides being linked to obesity, high levels of phthalates can affect the growth of children. Take a quick look at the ingredients in your favorite personal care products for “fragrance” or “perfume” and toss them if you find those listed. Air fresheners and scented candles are culprits too!
What made me want to write this post is because of my last trip to my parent’s house. My mom always has fresh clean sheets but the smell of the dryer sheet and softener was so intense I had a very difficult time sleeping. I told Craig, “I wish there was a healthy product out there instead of those chemicals for bedding.”
Craig looked into finding dryer balls to replace dryer sheets. He found the Dryer balls here [CLICK HERE].
To use: Place a few drops of your favorite essential oil onto each dryer ball. Place into dryer with clothes, or sheets.
TIP: For awesome sleep: I recommend using these on sheets: Roman Chamomile, Wild Orange, Cypruss, Ylang Ylang:
FOR MY CLOTHES: wild orange and peppermint!

Love your informative posts! Will the Estrofactors supplement help with this?
Yes it would!
What an awesome post. Been eating keto for a month now, 18 lbs down, but my acne is still very inflamed. Not eating dairy. I’m actually very, very low in estrogen and crazy high in testosterone, so I never know if I should follow the advice of trying to slash estrogen. Thoughts, Maria?
Interesting I just ordered these yesterday😀
Awesome!
I’ve never heard of dryer balls, but couldn’t I just put some essential oils on a cloth and put that into the dryer?
It might work but the balls cause enough friction because they bounce around in the dryer, and that is what causes the fabric to be softer. It isn’t the essential oil. The oil just makes it smell plain good!
No
How do you put oil on the balls without the oil getting on the clothes?
I just drop the oils onto each ball. The balls suck up the oil. Never gets on my clothes.
the dryer balls also absorb some of the water from the clothes – bonus – they dry faster using less electricity
Besides being a teacher, I’m also a fiber/yarn artist. I knit and spin my own yarn. Dryer balls are really easy to make. You just have to felt in a circle (which isn’t all that important that they are exact spheres). The wool helps draw the electrons away from the clothes, which controls the static cling.
Let me know if you want a lesson (or look one up on YouTube, I’m sure they are there!)

Wool dryer balls are amazing. I use 5 at a time and they not only make your clothes softer but also cut drying time saving you money!
Okay, THIS is a random question, but I am not sure where to put it… Today I was shopping for Dr. Bronner’s soap bars, which I use to wash my hair, and liquid soap, which I’ve used forever to wash all sorts of things and in my house cleaning mixes. I saw, for the first time, they have a hand/face soap now, and a primary ingredient in these soaps are sugar and grape juice, which serve as humectants. I’m guessing these would be terrible for people working to stay in ketosis, because skin absorbs, and sugar is sugar. Or…. could I be wrong about that?
I’m not totally sure but I personally wouldn’t use it. I only use these products:

what is the answer to the question…If fat=ft then protein=?:
First and last letter. So answer is pn.
I do needle felting, why couldn’t I just felt some wool balls of my own?? I have never used dryer balls, but I could go into business with these!! (:
Hi Maria! I’m new to your site and I just love it. I wanted to add that the hard plastic dryer balls do not work…they fall apart so if anyone is considering them, don’t! Get the wool. My daughter bought laundry detergent with a scent at college. I have been washing her clothes now that she came home and I can’t even wash that smell out! I hate it– it really bothers my allergies. Thank you for all the great info! I have two of your cookbooks now and the recipes so far are fabulous!
Thanks sweetie!!!
I’m looking to make your protein bars from the ketogenic cookbook. Which yacon syrup do you recommend to use? There are so many on Amazon and unsure which is preferred.
Thank you for buying the book❤️❤️❤️
I love this one: http://astore.amazon.com/marisnutran05-20/detail/B00IQZTOSK
I have been using these dryer balls for several months now and really like them. I can’t even stand the smell of softner sheets anymore! However, I just washed a few light sweaters, cooler weather in WI coming soon! and they have quite a bit of static. I’m trying not to overdry them. Any suggestions for preventing/removing some of the static?
