The PRIMAL LOW-CARB Kitchen Cookbook
I love getting fun mail and a few days ago I came home to a new cookbook! Kyndra Holley’s beautiful new cookbook The Primal Low-Carb Kitchen Cookbook.
Kyndra has a mouth-watering blog called Peace Love and Low Carb.
This girl really can cook!
She even has one of my favorite recipes…ahhhhhh, hollandaise! She smothered her tasty crab cakes in hollandaise, but seriously I could eat her hollandaise recipe with a spoon!
Kyndra has spent countless hours working and sleepless nights dreaming about this book. Many times readers don’t understand the work put into a cookbook, it isn’t just cooking and taking photos; I never realized how much time was put into the driving to the grocery store, the amount of money put into the groceries (not to mention the recipes that flop and you need to test test test), the CLEANING (I’m not the best at that part!). Kyndra sure put a lot of love into this book and you can see it when you pick up this cookbook.
This cookbook is gluten free, grain free and low carb. You will shocked at the variety of recipes in this lovely book.
It is available on Amazon. What a great gift idea or a beautiful addition to your own cookbook collection!
Did I mention it is full of mouth-watering photos!?
Oh this does look delicious! But I have to say, Maria, I have thought how beautiful YOUR cookbooks are too and all the work that happens to get to the point of taking that photo! Thank you for all you do for all of us out here 🙂
Thank you!
I preordered my copy at Amazon a few months ago and it landed on my Kindle today. I haven’t had time to go through it yet, but I do have all of her other cookbooks, which are great, so I expect this will be equally wonderful. I also have your new one ordered, and am looking forward to getting it. I think Amazin gave a mid July date for it. I love Hollondaise myself and will lock up my spoons lest I eat it plain!
Thanks!
I’ll have to check this book out but your cookbooks are really wonderful. I know you put a lot of time and hard work in to making the recipes for them and I along with countless others appreciate what you do for us!!! 🙂
Thanks!
Maria, Thank you so, so much for the thoughtful review of my book. I appreciate you and all that you do. Can’t wait to see YOUR new book!!
Of course! Thanks!
wow, this looks great … I must say that I love your cookbook as well for the beautiful pictures that inspire me to get behind the casseroles 😉 thanks for sharing this! I’m always happy to get inspiration to cook some beautiful meals!
Thank you!
Hi Maria! Thank you so much for all that you do! My family has gotten a lot healthier on your meal plans. However I had two questions. Will Quest Bars kick you out of ketosis if you just count the net carbs? (I know you recommend counting total carbs)
And what about natural ground peanut butter as long as I stay within my macros?
I would avoid quest bars. Natural Peanut butter with no sugar is ok. Thanks! 🙂
I love low carb cook books!
Maria! I love that you are crossing over with some of my favorite blogs lately. And my book arrived yesterday! YAY! I wonder if you could share your thoughts on coconut sugar in the lower measurements throughout the book. I just don’t think I can cross that line. Would you sub Swerve if not comfortable? Have you tried that yet? So many recipes I want to try. Just trying to keep it right for me.
I would not use it. Sugar is just sugar in the body. Yes, Swerve is a good sub. 🙂
Hi Maria, can’t wait for your new cookbook to come out. I appreciate your recommendations for other cookbooks. Thank you so much. I have a question. I am looking for Magnesium Glycinate on Amazon and can not find the Now brand on Amazon. Is there another brand that is good as well as the Now brand? Have a good day!
This one is great!
