Maple Curd
I get comments all the time from people LOVING my lemon curd recipe in my book The 30 Day Ketogenic Cleanse but they ask why it crystalizes after it cools. This happens if you use erythritol as a sweetener. But I have a solution for all of you!
When making my lemon curd or this new Maple Curd recipe, always use allulose. Allulose melts and acts like sugar without effecting blood sugar or insulin and it is zero calories!
My Maple Curd is so delicious! We love it on my protein sparing Dutch Baby pancakes!
If my maple curd gets too lumpy when cooking it, do not worry. It happened to me the first time! Put the curd in a small food processor and puree until smooth.
WHERE TO GET INGREDIENTS FOR MAPLE CURD
If you haven’t noticed, I do not allow advertising on my site.
I just didn’t agree with some of the products that were advertised. They were keto products, but they were unhealthy and I would never personally eat most of the products. It was hard to say no to blog advertisements; they pay thousands of dollars a month, but I just felt uncomfortable about having the products I didn’t recommend on my website.
Instead, I have created a shopping list where you can find all the healthy ingredients that are difficult to find in the grocery store (and if you do find them, they are often very expensive).
I have done a lot of detective work and found the lowest prices on for all of the products I use and love. Everything from food, pantry items, kitchen tools, supplements, and skin products are on my list.
I rarely waste time in the grocery store because I find everything online for a way better price!
All you have to do is click on the words in my recipes and it will take you right to the correct item. If you add them to your cart I get a tiny commission that helps me afford to keep practicing recipes (Recipe experimenting can costing me a fortune!…but I love helping!).
I also have GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS on the list!
You can get my full shipping list HERE.
Happy Shopping and THANK YOU for all your support!!!

TESTIMONY OF THE DAY
“Thank you Maria! Today marks one year exactly of deciding to make a change!!
I’ve lost 85 pounds, have no more swelling in my ankles, no more pain in my knees or back (I used to be in pain when I laid down at night, and woke up in pain in the morning), I can breathe when I lay down because my chest and neck aren’t suffocating me, I have the energy and mood stability to be a great single mom to my three kids who are now 8, 6 and 4, I get out kayaking for fun, just finished a five day cycling trip, and am entered in my first Spartan obstacle race, all while maintaining a 3.85 GPA in my post secondary courses!
The scale doesn’t even matter anymore, because I’m finally living the life I want! I’m happy to get up every day and just live!
Maria and Craig Emmerich certainly understand how our bodies work best and I am eternally grateful that I started with them rather than all the crazy ways others try to “do keto”.
I can’t wait to see where I am at in another year!!” – Stephanie
Hi Maria! Thank you so much for sharing your recipes! I don’t think there has ever been one of your recipes that I tried and didn’t LOVE! I appreciate you and all you and your husband do to help people know and understand the truths about how much what we put in and on our bodies effects us in so many different ways.
This recipe says you can make it one day ahead. So does that mean I can’t make it and keep up in the fridge so I’ll have it available as needed?
Hope you have an awesome week!
Thank you for your kind words! You can keep it in the fridge for up to a week 🙂
