My Carnivore for Weight Loss book is FINALLY here!

    I have been on keto for 3 years and have gone from 250lbs to 160. My husband has gone from 275 to 230lbs. We are both 59 years old.
    I am diabetic and on insulin. My A1C had dropped from an 8 to a 7 and I can’t get it any lower. My doctor said I have insulin insensitivity and recommended an endocrinologist. My goal is to loose 30lbs and to get off insulin. I have neuropathy on my legs and a drop foot. My husband has severe arthritis on his hip.     I want to be sure that I am choosing the right plan that would help us. Can you advise me as to what would work best so that we can accomplish our goals.

      First congratulations on your successes so far! Way to go! In your case, it can take time to lower your A1C. Especially if you were diabetic/insulin resistant for a long time. It takes time to shrink your fat cells, which is what you are trying to do. Try incorporating some PSMF days into your week. These YouTube videos can help:

    Type 2 Diabetic for almost 30 years, insulin dependent/roun-Y gastric bypass 2021. //endrocrinoligist put me on Monjauro injection last Nov.2022 and it made me sick for 3 months/ got off it but now suffering from stage 4 chronic kidney disease. Will a keto or carnivore diet help me deal with CKD? I reading by some that a plant based diet is best,but I was advised by nephrologist to go low oxalate, which would seem to be more carnivore. I am slightly confused about what to do diet wise.
