Testimonies of the Day
30 Day Accelerated Testimony:
Hi Maria, I just wanted to write and say thank you so much for all you’ve done to help change my life! I had an assessment done with you a little over a month ago and fully committed myself when I returned from a vacation last month. Tomorrow will be one month since living grain-free, sugar free and healthy… and I’m down 25 lbs to show for it!! I can’t believe how fulfilled I am food-wise and how the number on the scale continues to go down! I’ve got a long way to go, but seeing progress like this and how easy it is to stick with it is so encouraging, and I’m sure that I’ll be able to reach my first benchmark of losing 75lbs by my 30th birthday on April 6! 🙂
My progress isn’t just visual, either – I tested my blood sugar yesterday after having a snack and it was on the low side of normal – 87, and not even while fasting! – and my blood pressure has been completely normalized, as well (it used to run high). With obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems and even cancer running in my family, I am SO happy I found you when I did. It’s never too late to make a change, of course, but making this change NOW gives me so much hope and happiness for my future and my life with my partner – we can now enjoy our time together without having to fear that I’ll run into health issues due to my weight and eating habits! 🙂
You’re the BEST and it’s so wonderful how many people you continue to help, including me. Thank you so much for everything!! Jenn
Photo Testimony: “I wanted to give a new updated testimony. The pictures on the left side are me about 5 years ago before I had kids. I worked out like crazy and ate 800 calories a day and still felt unhealthy and uncomfortable. The pics on the right are me after 2 kids and perfecting my ketogenic eating habits thanks to you! You have made it possible to eat delicious food and be healthy, happy, and comfortable. Please know how many lives you are changing for the better. Thank you!” – Emily

Hello! I found your blog through April’s. You have some really neat recipes! I’m definitely looking forward to reading more.
These look awesome! I’m going to have to try as soon as it gets a bit warmer!
Maria: I see quite a few recipes I would love to try with the unsweetened chocolate almond milk. The only choc. almond milk I find is the Silk dark chocolate almond milk, yet has 23g. carbs and 21 g. sugars per cup. Is this the milk you are talking about? Thanks for clarifying
Hi, no, sorry. Their is a Silk Unsweetened chocolate almond milk. You can ask your store if they will carry it. 🙂
Kroger carries their own store brand unsweetened.
I think with deserts like this I will be able to make this lifestyle change permanent. Thanks!
Thank you! That is what I strive for. 🙂
What other sweetner could I use instead of Swerve as I do not have this one? Love your recipes!!! Thank you so much!
Thanks! You could use Just Like Sugar, Stevia, or even Truvia form your local store. I have lots of options here:

Hi Maria, I just got a Yonanas for my birthday! So excited to use it, especially for my little girl. It calls for bananas as you know…do you have any ideas for how to use it but with minimal sugar? I see you have one on this post.
This one or my shamrock shake (which uses an avocado) would be great! 🙂
Wow! For 2 years I have been searching for a LC fudgesicle and no weird ingredients. Can’t wait to try it, thank you.
Pure Joy!! I have a Yonannas machine but haven’t used it as much lately since I stopped eating a high carb diet with bananas. Your recipe will do the trick for me. I also plan to get some popsicle molds and have a treat to eat in the heat (big smiles here) Thanks Maria!!
Thanks!
Hi Maria!
About the yonanas machine, since this recipe doesn’t have fruit, you can just pour the liquid in there and it works just the same?
thanks so much!
Trudy
Yes, it should work the same. Thanks! 🙂
We are big coconut milk lovers here. Do you think we could substitute the almond milk for coconut? You rock Maria!
Yes, that would work great. 🙂
I have a yonanas but the only recipes included in the box are fruit ones including mostly bananas. I would love to know if you have any low carb (no fructose) ones that you have already tried.
This should work in that machine as is. 🙂
I don’t own an icecream maker, could I still make it but put it in the plastic popsicle makers and place in freezer?
Yes, that will work great! 🙂
How do you feel about Carrageenan being an inflammatory and in many nut milks?
Yes, I avoid it. The Silk brand I get doesn’t have it. 🙂
Thank you!!! I was just scouring Pinterest for a recipe like this!! Can’t wait to try them. LOVE YOUR BLOG!
I have a quick question for you…I looked at the total carbs on a package and it said 21g. Dietary fiber was less than 1g and sugars accounted for 9g. There were no other specifics listed. What are the other 11 carbs coming from???
On what package? Not sure what you are referring to. 🙂
It was on a snack size container of Nutter Butters.
OMG I love these! Thanks!!
Thanks!
Hi Maria,
Love your website. I have a Yonanas machine and thought I had to throw it out but I see you suggest using it for this. How would I do that though?
Sorry, not sure. I don’t have one of those machines.
for the “coconut cream” option, do you mean the separated cream from a refrigerated can of full fat coconut milk?
thanks so much!
Yes, exactly. 🙂
hi, a friend just shared your recipe on facebook and this is my first time looking at your site. I’m wondering what the purpose of the l-glutamine powder in this recipe is?
L-Glutamine is great for gut health and muscle healing. 🙂
Maria, I love your site so many great recipes. Just had one of these fudgsicles and almost fell off my chair! I will be making these all Summer…thank you!
Thank you! 🙂
what the benefit to adding the gelatin?
Just for texture. And it is great for joint health. 🙂
