Pili Nuts Giveaway
People always ask what they can eat while traveling and Pili Nuts is something that we always have packed in our suitcase! Even this past week when I spoke at an event, I packed the NEW flavor Pili Nuts (Turmeric and Black Pepper) in my carry on. I also have them in Maui at the Keto Condo! They are a perfect beach snack!
And on my kayak trips in the summer, I always have them with me (the bag is waterproof in case I tip over)!
I like to tell my clients to count carbs like a game of golf! The lowest score WINS! A whole bag of Pili nuts is only 1g total carbs!!!!
I use Pili Nuts in a lot of recipes now too! They make a great crunchy addition to my Kung Pao Meatballs, Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Satay Sauce (instead of peanuts) as well as my Keto Porridge!
Pili Nuts RULE! Not only do they taste like a crunchy buttery mouthful of goodness, they also are only ONE gram of TOTAL carb per ounce! For true keto weight-loss success you need to count total carbs.

My favorite getaway place is Disney World!
My favorite winter get-away (or any time of year for that matter) is the Seychelles! These are tropical islands located in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa, about 1000 miles from Kenya and 4 degrees south of the equator. Madagascar is to their north and Mauritius to their south. They are known as the Garden of Eden or Paradise and for several reasons. We know they are not the “Garden of Eden” as the Bible indicates, but they are the closest place on Earth to Paradise. Their high temperature in the summertime reaches about 88 degrees F and their low temperature in the winter drops to about 72 degrees F. It is very unusual for them to experience violent weather, no tornadoes, hurricanes or monsoons. Humidity is usually 75-80%. These are the only granite islands in the world. The government has vowed to keep the islands closest to their original state as possible. They do not allow any commercial tourism…so you will not find fast food restaurants, chain hotels, high rises (I think they allow only 2-story hotels) or any of your typical tourist attractions. They really are almost primitive. The main island (Capitol) is Mahe and you will see cars and trucks but most people will travel by Moke (gas/electric powered car, no windows, small like a golf cart, holds 4 people but travels 40 mph). Many of the islands do not have vehicles so people will travel by foot, bicycle or oxen driven carts. The residents are very friendly and there is a 96% literacy rate on the islands. Most people are fluent in English (owned by Britain until 1976), French (originally owned by the French) and Swahili. Their crime rate is very low, about the lowest in the world, and many of the hotels/huts do not even have windows or locks on the doors. The water temperature is between 75 degrees and in some “warm” spots, 90 degrees. They are surrounded by a natural barrier reef so sharks are very rarely seen. They have had only four shark “attacks” since they have been recording these stats. The sand is white and clean, the water so clear that you can see to the bottom. Snorkeling is like diving into a tropical aquarium. I have visited several of their islands and in one case; I was on the island for 3 days. There were only 52 people on the island–37 workers and 15 tourists. I went an entire day without see other tourists or workers. Our cabana was 14 steps from the ocean water. They are also home of the coco-de-mer trees. The fruit that these trees bear (the coconut) is only on the female tree. The coconut resembles that of a female pubic area. The male trees have long extensions that resemble the male penis and this is what fertilizes the female trees. They only start producing off spring after 25 years. These are the only islands in the world that produce this kind of coconut. One was given to Prince William and Kate when they spent their honeymoon in the Seychelles. There is plenty to do on these islands and the food is fabulous. They offer many types of fish, exotic foods and most are prepared by gourmet chefs. It truly is a paradise and a winter get-away or anytime of the year.
A hike across Volvanoes National Park in Hawaii would be a great place to eat Pili Nuts in the middle of winter! A kayak in Safety Harbor, Florida would be another great place!

I clicked on your tab to Healthy Traditions website and was wondering if you would recommend their palm shortening in the 33 lb box? I need something Maria approved for our huge turkey fryer. Thank you 🙂
My favorite winter getaway is anywhere where I can snuggle in front of a fire in a warm blanket with hot chocolate & tea, and read a book while listening to music. Preferably somewhere snowy.
I love anywhere there is an ocean and sand. I have not really had the opportunity yet to explore the world. But give me the ocean and the sound of the waves and it fills my soul. I like carry snack foods that are healthy with me at all times. I don’t like the extra carbs especially if I am traveling and I like trying to keep my diet clean. Sometimes it gets a little murky lol
Our favorite family winter getaway is heading down to the beaches of the gulf!
My favorite winter getaway is my own home here along the Central Oregon Coast….I have lived here for over 2 years yet the hidden secrets that exist along the Pacific Ocean in the NorthWest is always a feasible getaway with hidden gems and memories that will last me a lifetime!!!
Favorite winter getaway is our annual trip to Wisconsin Dells, where we pretend we are somewhere warm inside the waterparks. =) Would love to win.
