Ingredients

  • 2 5 ounce lobster tails (click HERE to get lobster)
  • 1 tablespoon butter flavored coconut oil or butter if not dairy free, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Redmond real salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Place the lobster tails onto a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Use a scissors or kitchen shears to cut the middle of the top of the shell to the fins, stop at the fins (make sure to cut in a straight line).
  • Use a spoon to loosen the meat from the shell. Gently lift the lobster meat out of the shell, press the cut shells back together and place the meat on the top of the shell.
  • Make a shallow cut through the middle of the lobster meat so you can peel a thin layer over the meat to give the lobster the signature look. (you may have cut a thin layer when you cut through the shell).
  • In a small bowl mix the butter flavored coconut oil, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, fresh parsley and lemon juice. Brush a layer over the lobster meat.
  • Place in the oven for 12 minutes or until the lobster is fully cooked.
  • I served mine with a Butcherbox Filet Mignon!
