Ingredients

OPTIONAL:

  • 1 teaspoon almond extract or other extract like vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon Redmond Real salt (helps keep frozen yogurt soft)

Instructions

  • Freeze the bowl of your ice cream maker 24 hours in advance.
  • Place into a blender, the yogurt, coconut milk or heavy cream, Equip Prime Protein and allulose. Add extract and salt if using. Puree until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.
3 cups plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup unsweetened low fat coconut milk, 3/4 cup powdered allulose, 1 scoop Chocolate Equip Protein Powder, 1 scoop Equip Salted Caramel protein powder, 1 teaspoon almond extract, 1/4 teaspoon Redmond Real salt
  • Pour the yogurt mixture into the ice cream machine (OR PLACE THE MIXTURE INTO 3 NINJA CREAMI CONTAINERS FOR A MORE CREAMY FROZEN YOGURT and freeze overnight). Churn until the yogurt has thickened to the texture of soft-serve, about 17 to 20 minutes. Or use your Ninja Creami on Lite Ice Cream setting.
  • Freeze until hard, at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • When ready to serve, allow the frozen yogurt sit on the counter for 20 to 30 minutes, until just soft enough to scoop. If using Ninja Creami, Place in the Ninja Creami on the “lite” setting. This will spin for about 3 minutes. Check consistency and if you desire a creamier texture, run the mixture on the “gelato” setting. Depending on your desired texture, will determine your settings. Enjoy!
