Protein Noodle Pizza Lasagna

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups Primal Kitchen Pizza Sauce
  • 12 slices thinly sliced deli turkey or chicken (Butcherbox brand preferred)
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

FAVORITE PIZZA TOPPINGS

  • cooked sliced mushrooms
  • diced onion
  • diced bell pepper
  • pepperoni slices
  • Canadian bacon
  • Sliced Black Olives

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • To assemble the easy lasagna, spread 1 1/2 cups of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Arrange sliced deli turkey on top of the sauce to cover the sauce well. Spread evenly with one half of the ricotta cheese. Top the ricotta with a third of mozzarella cheese and top with your favorite pizza toppings.
  • Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
  • Cool for 20 minutes before serving. Serve with my Protein Sparing Garlic Bread!
  • Store extras in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 6 days. Can be frozen for up to a month. Makes great leftovers!
