Place the romaine leaves on a large serving platter. Place the biggest spears at the bottom of the Christmas tree. Work toward the top using smaller and smaller spears to create a Christmas tree.
Sprinkle the salad with the diced bacon crumbles, hard boiled egg cubes, and blue cheese crumbles.
Slice the red onion into rings, use the smaller rings of the lettuce and arrange around the tree to replicate Christmas decorations.
Arrange the tiny cherry tomatoes around the tree.
Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut the slice of provolone cheese into a star. Place on the top of the tree. Cut the other slice of cheese into a 1 1/2 inch square for the trunk of the tree. Wrap the prosciutto or salami around the cheese and place at the bottom of the tree.
