Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Chop the chocolate into fine pieces.
  2. Grease an 8-inch pan ( or individual ramekins).
  3. Heat the butter in a saucepan. Once the butter is melted (or you can BROWN THE BUTTER which has a caramel flavor), slowly add the chocolate (don't burn the chocolate). Add the sweetener and stir well to combine.
  4. Let cool in the fridge. Once cool, add one egg at a time. Add a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine. Pour into the prepared pan or ramekins.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Serve with cream cheese frosting if desired.
  7. To make the frosting, Brown the butter in a saucepan (stir constantly on high heat until light golden brown – it makes such a difference!!!). Once brown add the cream cheese, almond milk, and sweetener to taste. Mix until creamy and allow to cool for at least 2 hours, it will thicken. Spread on top of the cake (add almonds if desired) and enjoy. .
