  • What do you do about constipation on the protein modified fast?

      Never an issue for me. Make sure to get enough electrolytes especially salt.

        Is this the case for being on a Keto diet without the PMF? How much salt is recommended? I I am adding Himalayan salt to water but my husband is trying to cut back on it and experiencing some constipation! We are new to the lifestyle!

          If you don’t get enough salt you can get constipation. I would make sure to get 2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons of sea salt a day.

    Hi Maria, I bought the PSMF Cookbook
    And just got started today. I have a couple q’s.

    1. The sweet treats that are zero cal, fat, carb and protein. Can you have those any time and as often as you want?

    2. I went too light on the stevia glycerine in the FT porridge so I sprinkled some Swerve on top. Realized after that might not be ok.

    3. I’m not sure my body fat percentage. Can I assume that the serving sizes will be appropriate or do I need to find out my percentage and adjust?

    4. I got started late today and don’t know that I’ll be hungry for all of the meals. Is it ok to only have two meals or is it essential to eat them all?

    5. I know you don’t suggest caffeine, but I’m not ready to give up coffee just yet. 😉 I drink unsweetened almond coconut milk in my coffee. Is it ok to have about 8 oz per day on top of the meal plan?

    Sorry for all the questions. Thank you for your help!!

      Yes, you can have the treats as often as you like. Yes, Swerve is ok too. I would just follow them as is. The meal plans are designed as 2 meals. One with a side dish. If you don’t eat it all just make sure to hit your protein goal (usually about 80g or so for a woman). That shouldn’t effect the PSMF consuming that much almond milk with coffee.

Enjoyed your cruise presentation, and it’s going along with my reading of KETO that I recently picked up at Costco. Keep up the good work! WE NEED YOU!
