Hello! I need help! I have followed a keto diet off and on for several years and have had wonderful results. In the last 4 years something has changed with my body and I have become hypoglycemic. After much research, i find that I have to incorporate carbs with my meals and snacks, every 3 hours to maintain my blood sugar levels and if i fail to do so, I experience terrible anxiety. So here I am, watching as the scale climbs, frustrated beyond words as I watch years of hard work undone. My choice seems to be eat in a way to re-loose weight and then maintain but be a basket case with anxiety and panic attacks or feel mentally stable and calm but be physically unhealthy. There HAS to be another option! The “professionals” I’ve talked to say I cannot eat keto any more, however I believe it is a very healthy way to live….surely I’m not the exception? All of the information I can find regarding keto and blood sugar is about HIGH blood sugar, nothing about low blood sugar. Am I not looking in the right places? Can you help me? Thank you for your time 🙂
