Everyone loves a good burger right?  Here are some of my favorite hamburger tips and recipes that are so mouth watering.

Want to know the coolest burger tip I just learned???

Only salt outside of Burgers to keep them moist.

Salt removes water and dissolves some of the meat protein which causes the insoluble proteins to bind together which is great for creating a springy bite of a sausage but not great for a tender juicy burger!

My favorite burger topping…brown butter cheese sauce! Click HERE for the recipe!

Just bought your 3-in-1 “Art of Healthy Eating” and it is fabulous! I have been lchf for a while, but have been apprehensive about getting the whole family on board. With your great recipes I now know it is possible! All 4 of my daughters are getting involved by picking out recipes to try, and my husband has been enjoying everything so far. Thank You!!!

  • NO WONDER my patties have always been dry unless I steam them…thanks so much for this tip!

    Maria,
Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge, your research, your recipes with us. You have no idea how much we all appreciate it! I have a T1D daughter and my youngest has JRA and you have no idea how many times (while I love and adore and am so thankful for their doctors) I argue with what they say to go with your findings. I so wish more doctors would get on board with the Keto lifestyle. My daughter is now away at college, (I don’t force Keto on her, my opinion for adults is that it has to be something they commit to on their own) she can definitely dramatically decrease the insulin she takes when she comes home and eats my cooking. I know insulin is something that naturally occurs in most bodies but is no longer produced by her body, and the theory is we shouldn’t track how much insulin a T1D takes, as all bodies are dramatically different, but why poke yourself if you don’t have to? Insulin is also expensive too, I love it when I can go an extra week or two without reordering diabetic supplies. I have noticed for myself a dramatic decrease in morning stiffness when I rise, and my husband has stopped taking a prescription for reflux. We are somewhat new to Keto, (I went to a seminar at your house this spring and started after that,) and not quite 100% Keto all day every day, 365 days of the year, but just starting cold turkey, not really easing into it in any way, I think we are doing pretty good. Thank you! I have also lost weight, I don’t own a scale, so I don’t know how much, but I do like my body more now!
