    is there any duplication from the 30 day advanced keto plan? I have that already? What is the difference between this and the 30 day advanced plan? why is this only 7 days? more calorie restricted or higher fat content like a fat fast?

      Nope, this is all new. This has a little stricter macros in the recipes and then has a great supplement plans that is designed to cleanse and detox. 🙂

    How much time would you estimate the food prep takes on this meal plan? Also, does it require ingredients that can’t be found at a regular grocery store? We have health food stores here, but not Trader Joe’s or Whole Food. Thanks!

      Food prep is pretty easy. I tried to make it as easy as possible and it is probably one of my easiest plans I have made. Slow cooker recipes, shakes, etc. All pretty easy to put together and/or prep/cook on the weekend for the week.

      Only specialty ingredient is protein powder and some sweetener. 🙂

      There are three recipes with tomato sauce. Two of which could easily be adjusted to omit (BBQ meatloaf could be more of a standard meatloaf, etc). 🙂

      First of all, I find that most clients, once they remove the gluten, grains, sugars and starches, can tolerate eggs again. If not, I have helped several clients with alternative meals and options for ones with eggs. Just contact me after purchasing (this or the 30 day plans) and I can give you some options. 🙂

      Well, the menu part of the plan does have a quite a bit of meat in it. All the supplements in the plan would still be great for you. We may look into a vegetarian cleanse in the future but nothing is planned right now. 🙂

    Hi Maria,

    I am taking in 30g or less of carbs a day, but I have a a really high carb meal once a week. So, far no loss for me in 6 Mos. I am thinking of trying something like this cleanse or another proprogram of yours. But the problem I have on all plans is being hungry pretty much all the time. Real hunger pangs and stomach sounds. Cleanse to me means starving. Is this one like that?

      This would help, yes. Also, the high carb meal once a week is also holding you back. If you eat this way (like this 7 day plan) all the time, in 2 or 3 weeks you hunger will go away. For most people (not coming from higher carb eating) this plan won’t leave them hungry. Plenty of healthy fats to keep them full. 🙂

    Lost 25 pounds a year ago doing keto adapted with your help on your site, but need another 25 to go and could not lose anymore . I have matained it though, can I lose on the 7- day plan? And keep losin?

    should this be doable for me after having my gallbladder out 2 years ago? I sometimes hsve ‘issues’ after eating, but am not sure what the trigger is.

      Yes, the common bile duct, which still remains after the gallbladder is removed, takes over a lot of the function of the gallbladder when it is taken out. That is why you can have your gallbladder removed and not totally fall apart by not being able to digest any fats. Coconut oil is very good for someone without a gallbladder because it doesn’t require bile acids for absorption. All MCT (medium chain triglycerides) are like this. You can also use dandelion and ox bile to increase bile production. So eating this way is great for someone without a gallbladder.

    Coconut is a nut…. and for me – a person with nut allergies – I cannot eat it in any form including its oil extract. If I do, I get very bad eczema.

      Everyone is different, but most people with nut issues can still have coconut. It is technically a nut and a fruit. 🙂

      I would wait until after you are done breastfeeding. When you release toxins they go into your blood stream and get into your breast milk. 🙂

      The only specialty ingredients are miracle rice and noodles, sweetener (I use confectioners Swerve) and protein powder (I use Jay Robb). 🙂

    Maria, I have been considering getting one of your plans for a while now but I don’t know which to start with. This detox or one of your other plans. I am 51 y/o and have about 60#s to lose. I have been trying to self teach myself about Keto and lost some weight but have put it back on over the holidays. I have already implemented some of your supplement recommendation. I don’t own any of your books yet I have only followed some of your recipies. I have a very hard time losing weight. Your advise would be appreciated.

    Maria, I’m wondering if switching your body to keto=adapted is a change of the body in a way that has to have a strict watch of food & nutrient levels from now forward?

      This is a lifestyle. It has many short term and long term health benefits. Also, if you go back to eating poorly, your body will show you how much it doesn’t want those foods (many client get very sick if they cheat and eat sugars, etc after being keto-adapted). 🙂

      The only specialty ingredients are natural sweetener (you can use whatever you have available), protein powder and miracle noodles (which can be subbed with kelp or zucchini noodles). 🙂

    I am taking my children and I to keto adapted starting next week. But I am having 2 struggles with planning. I cannot consume the sweeteners you use – they make my hands swell and itch and cause intestinal grief.
    Further my son has been highly allergic to egg since first introduction. We had to carru epi-pen for him for a few years due to reaction. He is gluten free, only raw dairy and nearly grain free.
    Are we doomed to no sweets? and how do you work around the egg issue?

    Is this plan/meals designed for one person eating? I’m thinking this would be good for my husband and I to do, so meals for two would be nice – though, we don’t mind eating leftovers if it’s designed to make meals for 4 or whatever number. Also, are the supplement suggestions generalized or are they personalized? I’d like to try personalized plans that we can both do simultaneously, but buying two packages isn’t really financially feasible.

    I’d like to try this since having some success eating low carb in the last year. I’d like to lose a bit more weight as I have not been too strict in following this way of eating. My question to you is alcohol allowed and can it be included with success? I’ve stop all the beer and cider which was a feat for me as an old Welsh rugby player. Now a days I’ve accustomed myself to having a little white or sparkling wine with my evening meal, or having a rum and zevia as a nightcap. Tell me in your honest opinion if it’s even worth it. I’d say I’d like to drop 2 pant sizes. Thanks in advance. Baz Knight

      Well, I do recommend staying away from alcohol in general. But I have had clients do very well if they follow my meal plans closely and have some alcohol in moderation. 🙂

    I have found that eating the Keto way erases pain completely, that I have in my upper back due to Scoliosis. I do not need to lose any more weight. And I have found that if I mix 1-2 T. MCT oil with u/s juice, it’s really easy for me to swallow, along with my supplements in their powdered form. I simply cannot swallow any pills or capsules for that matter. But my meals are not consistent. I have already purchased your complete program and have started to incorporate your suggestions. However, I can’t eat salads. Any salads on the new program?

    My husband and I are on day 3 of the 7 day plan. We are both having some flu-like symptoms. Is this typical as the body detoxifies?

    I have two of your hard copy cookbooks and love your recipes. My next question is what to do after the 7 day cleanse? I have been on low carb for 4 years and it stopped working. After watching your video, I believe I was getting too much protein.

      Yes, this happens when your body detoxes and when you get Keto-Adapted. Try adding more water, salt and potassium. Drink at least 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water a day. 🙂

    Hi, Maria. I’ve purchased (and am using) the 7-Day Keto Cleanse (going well so far!) Are the kind of supplements and in the quantities listed used just for the 7-day cleanse? I am trying to determine how to possibly reduce the quantity and/or kind of supplements after the cleanse is over because I’m assuming that I won’t need to keep that level of cleansing up on a daily basis. I am sure that I will keep taking many of them, but am wondering how to find out which ones and in what amount. I hope that makes sense. Thanks so much for all you do!

      Yes, after a week or 2 you can back off is you like (or stop when you finish the bottle). They are all 100% natural and safe to take for extended periods if you like. As for after that, if you do back down just use the detailed descriptions of each to determine if you still need them based on your symptoms. 🙂

    I just finished the 7 day Keto Cleanse. I followed the plan, took the supplements but didn’t get exercise completed everyday due to foot injury. I’m happy to report a loss of 11.6 pounds. I plan on repeating the 7 day Keto cleanse again but wonder how often I can do it. Thanks!!!!!

    Hi Maria, I’m hoping you can offer some enlightenment on my experiences with the 7-day keto cleanse. I fell off the keto wagon pretty hard and it lasted a few months. I was eating way more carbs than I should have been. In that time I had put on a few pounds and generally felt guilty and bloated. I figured it was a good time to try your cleanse, and get back into ketosis ASAP. For the first 3 days of the cleanse I felt absolutely dreadful. I was spending a lot of unpleasant time in the bathroom, I was weak and hungry all the time. I cut back to one tablet of vitamin C and drank a few less cups of green tea, to help with the bathroom issue. I also made sure to add in extra salt and potassium, and drank 2 cups of bone broth a day. I was also drinking plenty of water. By Day 4 I was starting to feel better. This whole time I was doing 20-30 minutes of your exercises a day and felt weak the whole time. At the end of the eating window on Day 5 I felt fantastic. I went to bed looking forward to getting up, doing my exercises. But then in the middle of the night I woke to pee and when I got back in bed I started to feel sick. My heart rate was super fast, I started to sweat, I was dizzy. I tried to get up to get a glass of water but I couldn’t do it. I then got this tingling feeling all over, got really warm, then got really cold and then my breathing slowly got back to normal and I managed to get back to sleep. But it was really scary. I thought I was going to have to call an ambulance. I woke up after a few hours, drank a mug of bone broth, and went back to bed until noon. This was last night. I’m here now, after eating a slightly bigger serving of breakfast then I had all week, and I feel ok. But, I’m wondering what happened. I read about hyperglycemic episodes when first starting keto. Is that what this was, and what can I do to have that never happen again? I’m also wondering if I should continue with the cleanse, make my serving sizes slightly bigger? I’m a healthy person. I don’t take any meds. I should also say that I’ve been in ketosis before, I know it’s the right way for me to eat. But perhaps I shouldn’t have hurled myself into this rigorous cleanse after such an unhealthy interim? The supplements are great and I love the meals. I’ve also lost 6.8 lbs in these 5 days. I started with 15-20 lbs of excess weight. I used to do intermittent fasting before, naturally. I had never had a problem before. Is it just that my body was so unhealthy from falling of the keto wagon that I stressed it with this cleanse? Sorry for the lengthy comment. Maybe others have experienced this too. Any insight would be great.

      The process sounds about right (for the first few days). These plans get you adapted really quickly so you are doing well there. Not sure about the Night issue you experienced. I haven’t heard of that before. It could be a blood sugar issue (which should go away with time). It could also be something called the healing crisis where things get worse before they get better as your body heals and detoxes. Not sure.

    I did the keto cleanse and lost 7 pounds and am fully in ketosis. I have two questions: I use the ketonix measuring device that plugs into the computer and my readings are in the red, which is the highest level of ketones is that too high? Also, I have continued the cleanse eating style of two meals in the 6 hour window, although I only use a couple of the recipes and just repeat them and I have gained 1.5 pounds this week—is it possible I am not consuming enough calories and my body is slowing itself down?

      Red is great! You are nicely in ketosis. Weight loss isn’t a straight line. Some weeks will fluctuate. You can also try going dairy and nut free for a month or so to increase weight loss. 🙂
